How to enjoy Grilled Foods at Home





Cooking directly over fire is an art more than a science that needs experience and interest for learning it well. Following are some tips for preparing delicious grilled or barbecued meat at home with delicious taste:

- Clean your barbecue grill smoker before grilling to avoid producing heavy smoke which causes bitter taste to food.

- Control the air vents well to avoid building up smoke.

- Put the barbecue in an open area with no or few wind and try to be at the same direction of wind to make the smoke blow away from you.

- If the wind was too much, try to find any thing to block this wind.

- Use charcoal and wood as fuel to have a tasty smoky taste in your meat and try to prepare it about quarter of an hour before starting grilling.

- Soak wood ships for 45 minutes before cooking and if you needed more wood ships while cooking add it.

- For preparing the fire, use chimney starter and then fill the barbecue smoker grill with papers and then put the wood and charcoal and then light the papers.

- Try to keep the temperature of fire at 180-220 F which is medium-high fire for grilling meat.

- Baste the good regularly to keep the temperature at the rate you need and add flavor to you meat.
By following such steps, you can enjoy the taste of mist smoky grilled meat or vegetables. The taste of such meals becomes more delicious when all the family members gather in the garden or in any open air area and cooperate together for doing it.
